Illinois colleges & universities unite for lifesaving competition in
support of organ & tissue donation
CHICAGO– Having settled in for a fresh school year, college students across Illinois are uniting to take action in support of the 4,700 Illinoisans and 97,000 people nationwide currently in need of lifesaving organ and tissue transplants.

Illinoisans called to observe National Donate Life Month:
Join new organ/tissue donor registry
CHICAGO- As the number of Illinois patients in need of lifesaving organ transplants surpasses 4,700 for the first time, Donate Life Illinois and Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White encourage everyone to take 30 seconds during National Donate Life Month in April to register as organ/tissue donors and offer those patients a second chance at life.

Donate Life’ campaign launched to register 3.5 million in state’s new donor registry
CHICAGO– A recent statewide poll shows that nearly 90% of Illinois adults say registering to be an organ/tissue donor is the right thing to do.
